Néma Prayer Times

Prayer times for Nema are calculated using the Muslim World League method, a widely used standard across much of the Muslim world for determining the Fajr and Isha twilight angles. The town keeps a single year-round time zone (Africa/Nouakchott) and does not observe daylight saving time, so the clock does not shift seasonally. At a subtropical latitude of about 16.6 degrees north, Nema sees only moderate seasonal change in day length: summer days run somewhat longer and winter days somewhat shorter, but daylight stays relatively even throughout the year compared with locations farther from the equator. As a result, Fajr and Isha drift gradually rather than dramatically across the seasons. The qibla from Nema points roughly east-northeast, at a bearing of about 76 degrees, toward the Kaaba in Mecca.
